MELTDOWN is a card game designed with the objective to supplement traditional classroom teaching and learning of risk management. It introduces basic risk management concepts and applications in an active and engaging manner.

Each player in MELTDOWN assumes the simulated role of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in a large financial institution. The main objective of financial institutions is to make profit by earning an investment return on its assets in excess of its operational costs.
